Minolta's Maxxum 3500xi flash is part of their line of flashes that are compact, lightweight, and fully dedicated to Maxxum si, xi, and i-series cameras. All lenses in this series allow through-the-lens flash metering and provide automatic shutter synchronization with flash-ready and exposure confirmation indications in the camera's viewfinder. The flashes work directly with your camera's autofocus and metering system and produce powerful and accurate flash illumination whenever needed. Maxxum AF flashes recycle quickly and provide an easy tool for shooting correctly exposed flash pictures.
The 3500xi is a multifeatured flash unit with advanced options such as wireless remote off-camera operation, ratio control, and dual-level power selection. It offers a guide number of 115 in feet (at 105mm and ISO 100), tilts a full 90 degrees, and automatically zooms to adjust flash coverage for focal lengths from 28mm to 105mm.
