This is a rare find indeed!
Manufactured during the 1970's, this Monte Rosa has never been inked, never used, in mint condition!
The only marks it may have are micro scuffs normal for its age.
This Monte Rosa edition did not have the white Montblanc star, but is easily distinguishable by the hexagonal cap top and piston filler knob.
The Monte Rosa has a piston filler system operated by turning the knob at the tip of the barrel.
The piston operates smoothly and the seal is intact as can be seen through the clean ink windows.
The cap is a screw on type with gold plated clip and rings.
The bottom cap ring bears the inscription "Germany" and "Monte Rosa".
The nib is 14C gold and has inscribed on it "Montblanc 14C 585".
This pen has an extra fine nib.
