Mod your XBOX 360 (firmware flash) - Cape Town ONLY
*ALLOWS YOU TO PLAY BACKUPS OF YOUR OWN GAMES!!
If you live in the Cape Town area and would like to modify your firmware without the risk of bricking your console, I will do it for you.
* This will allow you to use backups of your own original games on your XBOX 360, thus protecting your very expensive originals from scratches etc.
* You need to have a Samsung drive in your XBOX 360. To check, press the eject button and look at the tray. If there is a tiny hole in the middle near the front, you own a Samsung drive (currently the most popular in SA).
* It will NOT make your XBOX 360 region-free, but you will be able to play your backups of region-free games. (http://wiki.xboxic.com/Region-free_Xbox_360_Games)
* You will void your Microsoft warranty (I need to remove a sticker inside the console)
* Nobody has been banned from "Xbox Live" for having modified firmware (probably because Microsoft would lose thousands of subscribers), but you do run the risk of that happening.
* Modifying your console in SA is legal, but pirating games is illegal everywhere!
