Very rare, very collectable, highly desirable to anyone in engineering, metal work, forging, modelling, etc
This is a working model of the original Rigby steam hammer built by R.G. Ross & Sons. The model stands 280mm high on an aluminium base with a plaque that reads "Rigby Patend Steam Hammer 1984". 1984 is the year the model was built, the orginal steam hammers dates back to the late 1800's into the early 1900's. There is a video or two of the MASSIVE original hammers in action forging, possibly some still going today.
This professionally built Stuart model is made up of cast iron, steel and stainless bits and ready to hook up to a mini boiler or air compressor to function. This particular one is complete with the optional inlet valve and lubrication sump.
Only the steam hammer is for sale, everything else in the photos is not for sale.
