Denerally fairly roughly opened on 3 sides.

Some Stats: From a bulk lot of about 1500 letters, about 90 Have collectable stamps (Mostly standard postage values), about 62 "usable" stamp with postmark(much duplication), 73 Registered Label with handcancel-usually no stamps, 80 registered label only without handcancel or illegible, 35 readable slogan cancels,Fastmail with CDS, or prepaid with CDS,150Permit mailor franking machine, 22 with registered or fastmail stamps- seldom with good legible cancellations.Moral: If you find a decent stamp with a decent legible cancellation-Keep it that way!
