Monarch Mantel Clock

On offer this large and beautiful MONARCH mantel clock that winds with a key on the face of the clock and chimes on every quarter hour and strikes the time on the hour. It has a beautiful Westminster chime. I have a key for the clock. A knob at the back can silence the chiming. It is 56cm long and stands 23cm high. All the clocks I sell are seen to by a reliable watchmaker and they are either repaired or serviced prior to sale. There are a couple of chips to the oak wooden veneer of this clock, most notably on the left side of the clock and less so on the right hand side of clock, also a little spot on the front left corner (see last 3 pics). The face opens and closes perfectly, but I must mention that the little holder the window clips into when closing, is not the original one and has been replaced with another, it works very well and this is not noticable when the face window is closed. On the clock mechanism is a maker engraving with capitals FHS and a picture of a clock.
