MONKEY- also known as PG Tips Monkey ( and often pronounced MUNKEH in imitation of Johnny Vegas' Lancashire accent) is an advertising character in the form of a knitted sock monkey. He has appeared with Johnny Vegas in advertising campaigns in the UK for both ITV Digital (now defunct) and PG Tips Tea. Although Monkey is wearing a Chimp logo on his T-shirt, he claims he is NOT a Chimp. His exact species has not been clarified. The fact that he has no tail might be significant Height: 15.5 cm ( top to toe ). Sitting: 11.5 cm.
