Monopsis lutea Seeds

The Monopsis genus consists of 16 species, all of which are indigenous to South Africa where they can be found from Namaqualand to the southern Cape, east to KwaZulu-Natal and north to Limpopo.

Monopsis lutea is well suited to hanging baskets as it can become straggly with age. It will create a mass of hanging 3 foot long stems bearing attractive, small, shiny evergreen leaves that bursts into bloom in early spring with hundreds of bright canary yellow "lobelia flowers" almost obscuring the foliage. A lesser bloom continues for the rest of the summer.

Its super easy, fast growing and bugs don't bother it. Possibly it's frost sensitive so you might want to protect it in winter. It seems like it would make a good house plant.

The bid amount is for 1 Seed
