MONSTER Dual PC Custom Built Chassis! For the geeky DIY enthusiast!

A short history:

This chassis was hand-crafted from a gun safe. The original idea was to build a system that would not be easy to steal and at 140cm in width, 130cm in height and a weight of about 85Kg it is just that. Obviously it had to look good, so great attention to detail was given in the planning phases. Also, the idea was to build a chassis that is essentially two computers in one! This chassis took a year to build!

I used this monster for about a year or so, but after that, due to my work, I had to move my workstation around quite a bit, so I had to opt for something smaller. Due to the fact that this chassis contained two motherboards (two separate PCs) it was running four monitors, so things got a bit cluttered in my flat. I eventually stripped out the PC components and built the two PCs into two separate standard desktop cases.

What is it?

That is the first question everyone that has ever seen it asks. Actually it is more like "What the hell is that thing!? A spaceship!?" :-)

What you see here before you is the complete chassis boasting some unusual, but pretty awesome features. Remember, it contains no motherboards, power supplies or other actual PC hardware, but that is where you come in. It supports two standard ATX motherboards, so build new hardware into it!

If you are someone that likes to tinker with extreme case modification then this baby is for you! I want to make it clear that if you buy this chassis for your own use I suggest you ask yourself if you're a do-it-yourself kind of person, because this monster has no manual and apart from a quick, basic explanation I am not interested in giving technical support in future. Otherwise, buy it for your geeky friend! He/She will never stop thanking you!

This case was designed with future upgrades in mind, so with a bit of fiddling and some technical savvy you'll be able to build your dream machine!

Another great use for this eye-catcher would be as a center-piece in the lobby/reception of any IT company. I assure you people will talk! It is a massive conversation starter!

What does this case include?

Well, apart from it's obvious majesty, it also includes (built in):

As you can see this is no ordinary chassis! I am standing next to it in one of the photos and I'm 183cm tall. There are actually too many things to talk about regarding this beast, but take a careful look at the photos and you should have a fairly good idea about what it is. I included the last three photos as a reference of what it looked like when it had the two PCs built in and was up-and-running!

What about shipping?

Unfortunately I will not be able to ship this massive marvel of case modding to you. You will have to bring a bakkie (NOT a car - it won't fit) and collect it yourself in Pretoria.
