The Montblanc M Exclusive Edition is made of Montblanc's iconic black Precious resin and features an innovative magnetic cap-closing mechanism automatically aligning the cap with the Montblanc emblem embedded in the plateau of the writing instrument.

An additional magnet is in the plateau for the cap to sit on when writing 

A Pop of Orange Colour can be seen around the forepart paying tribute to Mark Newson's Signature Colour 

Featuring a Platinum Coated Clip 

My original thought on receiving this brief was to craft a pen that I would always want to use. I love the instant communicative effects of a pen on paper.  I thought it would be a meaningful thing to make people remember the nuances of this fading experience. Its important to remember how to see and work in the world with an analogue mind. Marc Newson
