Authentic NOS 1950'S MONT BLANC Monte Rosa
Black Piston filler fountain Pen with Fine 14C nib - model O42G

This is a rare find indeed!
Manufactured during 1956-1959, this Monte Rosa is brand new, never inked, never used, new old stock.
It is in mint condition and the only marks it may have when viewed under a magnifying glass, are a few micro scuffs from being transported in the box.
The Monte Rosa has a piston filler system operated by turning the cap at the tip of the barrel.
The piston operates smoothly and the seal is intact as seen through the transparent blue viewing area.
The cap is a screw on type with gold clip and rings. Not sure if they are gold plated or gold toned in this model.
The cap bears the inscription "MONT BLANC" and "Monte Rosa".
The nib is 14C gold and has inscribed on it "Monte Rosa 14C MONTBLANC 585".
This pen has a fine nib.
Comes in original box with the original booklet (both in excellent condition).
On the bottom of the box the model number can be found: "schwarz - 042 G - F".
