"Once upon a time..." The Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to the Brothers Grimm is dedicated to Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm and celebrates their work on German and European folktales, among which are some of the most famous fairy tales such as "Snow White", "Cinderella" and "Sleeping Beauty". The overall silhouette of the writing instrument is shaped like an old hiking stick, while the black color resembles the darkness of the woods which usually serve as the main stage for the Brothers Grimm's folklore. In addition, the wave-like pattern on the cap and barrel is inspired by Rapunzel's hair while also resembling roots, since the Brothers Grimm viewed their linguistic work as "research into roots". The cap is crowned by the Montblanc Emblem in precious resin. The platinum-coated clip, reminiscent of a knobby piece of wood, surprisingly reveals the silhouette of the profile of the Brothers Grimm when turned.

We know the value of peace-of-mind, so every pre-owned watch we sell comes with a 6-month warranty in addition to any remaining manufacturer's warranty it may also have.
In the event that your watch does not function in the way that it should, we will have it expertly assessed and/or repaired by our master german watchmaker.
What if there's something wrong with my watch ?
* If you have any remaining manufacturer's warranty, then you can send your watch to them for repair either via us or via an authorised retailer.
* If your watch is covered by the Royal Watch Warranty but not the manufacturer's warranty, then we will undertake the repairs in conjunction with the manufacturer where necessary.
* If your watch is not covered by any warranty then you can send it in to us for a quote. Any work undertaken by us will be covered by a further 6 month warranty.
Important Information
The warranty provided by Royal Watch covers manufacturing and mechanical defects only. Our warranty is subject to the same terms and conditions as the manufacturer warranty.
The standard manufacturer warranty does not cover theft or loss of the watch. Normal wear-and-tear or damage caused to the watch by accidents or mishandling/mistreatment are also excluded, as well as damage caused to a watch due to submersion in water which is against the manufacturer's guidance.
In particular, wear of the watch strap is not covered by the warranty. Any modification of a watch by the addition or substitution of components by aftermarket products which have not been provided by the manufacturer will also invalidate the warranty.
The use of aftermarket components can severely compromise the technical performance, reliability and water resistance of the watch.
We do not guarantee any pre-owned watches to be water resistant.
Payment
We require payment within 2 working days unless by prior arrangement.
We do not reserve stock for more than 2 working days.
