The Mooncup is a reusable menstrual cup and is the ideal product if you’re looking to save money, are concerned about the environment and/or looking after your health. This incredible product is made from soft body-safe medical grade silicone and is hypoallergenic, completely latex-free and contains no dyes, BPA, phthalates, plastic, bleaches toxins, absorbency gels, additives or perfumes, unlike some other sanitary products on the market today. It’s inserted and worn inside the vagina, a lot lower than a tampon, but collects any menstrual fluid instead of absorbing it. This results in a lot less irritation and no dryness, and doesn’t disrupt your body’s all important pH levels. An interesting fact is 35% of all fluid absorbed by tampons are your own body’s natural moisture. In addition, because the Mooncup is made of body-safe silicone, it can be left inside the body for hours at a time, without any negative symptoms associated with other sanitary products.
Easy to use, the Mooncup is specially designed to be folded and inserted into the vagina, then removed, rinsed and reinserted up to every 8 hours, depending on your flow. When inserted a light seal is created against the vaginal walls. Any menstrual fluid is collected without any leakage or odour. When ready for removal the Mooncup’s seal is easily removed allowing you to empty the contents, rinse or wipe, and reinsert. This amazing product lasts for years and can be used overnight, when travelling, swimming or exercising.
The hands-on nature of the Mooncup allows you to monitor your flow in a way you have never been able to do before. Allowing you to get more in sync with your body’s natural processes.
The Mooncup comes in two sizes. While there is only a small size difference between the, it is important to get it right.
Size A is recommended for those aged 30 and over, and all who have given birth vaginally regardless of age.
Size B is recommended for those under the age of 30 who have not given birth vaginally.
Size A has a diameter of 46mm and a length of 50mm. Size B has a diameter of 43mm and a length of 50mm. Both sizes have a stem that is 21mm long, which can be trim to the length that best for you.
Sizing is based on your pelvic floor tone and not menstrual flow. The strength of your pelvic floor may vary due to age, childbearing history, and any tone-maintaining exercises you do. Corrective surgery to the vagina will also have an impact on which size will be right for you.

Due to health concerns we cannot restock our shelves with returned products. However, we do make the exception for products that are damaged during shipping or the incorrect product was sent to you. We ask if you could please notify us within 2 days of delivery if this is the case. If so we will either send you a replacement or refund you in full.
