Offered on this auction is this lovely MOORCROFT 32cm (10 7/8") POMEGRANATE Vase.
This Early Vase is beautifully decorated all round with 4 Pomegranates, on a Cobalt Blue background.
The base is impressed with the "MOORCROFT", "MADE IN ENGLAND", and "87", and there is a hand signed "William" signature in Blue (see photos).
This lovely Vase stands 32cm / 10 7/8" high, and measures 7,5cm / 3" in diameter across the widest girth.
This Vase is in EXCELLENT CONDITION; there is only a pinhead chip on the lip of the base )as a result of manufacture), no cracks, scratches, rubs, or traces of restoration (see photos).
There is some light crazing.
Any white spots in the pictures are as a result of the camera flash.
I take extra care in the packing of all my ceramics, which are sent VERY securely packed and cushioned in foam chips, thus ensuring a safe journey.
