My prized possesion must sadly go...This very rare Morris 12 Steel string is invaluable. It is in perfect condition, being kept in it's case for many years, occasionaly played. Recently been fully serviced with brand new strings and professionaly tuned.
This model was manufactured in original factory in Japan in 1976 (now 33 years old) and hardly a knick, no bends, no damage. Solid wood construction. Autographed & personally inspected by Mr. Yamada.
Rich, old guitar sound...The advantage of buying an old guitar is that the wood is completely dried and hardened. When the wood top has aged and hardened with string pressure on it for years, you know that it will not warp in the future. Few things are more painful than to spend a fortune on a new acoustic guitar only to have the top warp a year or two after the warranty has expired. Also, the dryer (lighter) wood top vibrates more than newer wood that has higher moisture content. This causes the older guitars to produce a richer, fuller sound because none of the frequencies are attenuated by moisture. Before you play this guitar, play some new solid top guitars and se the difference.

New 12 string Morris guitars go for around R12000 in the USA so this is a good fair price.
