Yes, it records video with audio. However, the audio recording also picks up the sound of the internal clock that is ticking which may effect the final audio quality.

Can I zoom with this DV camera?
NO, there is no zoom function with this model.

How do I set the correct time and date?
Follow these simple steps to set the correct time and date:
1- Turn the camcorder ON and connect to computer
2- Create a .txt file named time.txt
3- Add a line with the correct time and date in the following format: yyyy.mm.dd hh:mm:ss
4- Save the file to the root disk of the camcorder
5- Disconnect your camcorder and begin recording
