THE PAINTER

My name is Ron Downs, an aspiring South African painter, I am very fortunate and privileged to live and create paintings from

my Home / Studio located at Vaal Marina on the Vaal Dam.

This painting was inspired by a recent trip to Bulgaria while the snow was still melting, just before Spring set in.

Although being an absolute South African born and bred, I have an affinity for Bulgaria as it reminds me of South Africa

in the 60's before materialism set in.

This is an original painting, signed, and painted direct onto canvas material.
