Description:

The MQ-5 Gas Sensor module is useful for gas leakage detection (in homeandindustry). It is suitable for detecting H2, LPG, CH4, CO, Alcohol. Due toitshigh sensitivity and fast response time, measurements can be taken as soonaspossible.

Note!:

The sensor value only reflects the approximated trend of gas concentration inapermissible error range, it DOES NOT represent the exact gas concentration.Thedetection of certain components in the air usually requires a more preciseandcostly instrument, which cannot be done with a single gas sensor. Ifyourproject is aimed at obtaining the gas concentration at a very preciselevel,then we do not recommend this gas sensor.

Features:

• Using high-quality dual-panel design, with power indicator and TTL signal output instructions
• With a DO switch signal (TTL) output and AO analog signal output
• TTL output valid signal is low. (When the output low signal light can be directly connected microcontroller or relay module)
• The analog output voltage, the higher the concentration the higher the voltage
• For gas, natural gas has better detection sensitivity.
• There are four screw holes for easy positioning

Electrical Specifications:

• Input voltage: 5V DC power
• Input current: 150mA
• DO output: TTL digital 0 and 1 (0.1 and 5V)
• AO output :0.1-0 .3 V (relatively clean), the highest concentration of voltage around 4V
