A charming and peaceful depiction of a well-known mountain in the Rift Valley.

Popular and highly regarded artist.

One of his earlier works.

Light paper crease / bend at NW & NE corner = will likely flatten out with gentle steaming and a warm ironing.

Some light fading of colours as can be seen by the darker framing of the portion covered by the paspartout.

Some dark brown stains on back from adhesive tape. 

Bought by me from Antique Auctions, Nairobi in about 1978 for 5,000/= (approx. GBP250.00 at the time).

Described in the auction as one of his "early works ".
