SCOPE OF SERVICES
Machines to be maintained and other work
As per the meeting, it had been decided that MTI will be handling the following for SCAMONT ENGINEERING:
General support during the week during business hours
Remote assistance when and where needed
Telephonic support where and when needed
Server support and maintenance
Full support for Desktops and Laptops
Setup and support for spare desktops and laptops and any new machines brought into the company
Support for the Wireless ADSL router and other access points
Email support
Installation and expansion of current and new network points
Backups and rotation with off-site storage (If needed)
Day to day user support
Day to day support is included in the contract fee and no call out or labour fee is payable. This will however exclude call outs if it is found to be a non-technical error, such as a Rica issue, or a user error, such as a disconnected cable, and telephonic assistance has been given with the same result.
Backups (Offsite)
Backups will be made weekly and rotated on a weekly basis, unless otherwise stipulated. The first backup will be a full backup, and thereafter backups will be done on an incremental basis.
If backup drives are needed to be purchased, they can be provided by MTI at THE CLIENT’s cost. The spare backup drive will be removed from site and kept at the offices of MTI, for security purposes.
User account queries and allocations
All user account queries, allocations and password resets will be done by MTI, unless otherwise stated. This will be done remotely or on site at the time of request.
General maintenance of server, desktops and laptops
Operating systems will be updated using downloads or through WSUS (Windows Server Update Services). Other maintenance includes monitoring of virus software, general housekeeping of machines, checking event logs for any errors that need urgent attention, etc. This will be done weekly with the backup rotations, unless otherwise stated.
A full GAP Analysis can be conducted on the site and an Asset Register created for THE CLIENT if needed. If at any time, new Hardware or Software is needed or existing systems need to be replaced, MTI will notify you accordingly. All replacement hardware, new hardware and software will be for the account of THE CLIENT. Set up cost for the installation of new hardware or upgrading of existing hardware will be included in the monthly fee.
Please remember that this is only for 2 months and if our services are required afterwards, we can discuss and negotiate a monthly fee for you.
Each bid is a binding contract and will be accepted that payment is going to be made. Failure to abide by this contract will result in a negative rating on your part. Only bid for this if you are serious. services will commence from the 1st of the next month.
