Mucuna sloani
3 seeds
"Yellow Jade Vine"
This vine can grow at an alarming rate. It is a tropical vine from Asia. It's quite scarce.
It can survive up to zone 9, but 10-11 is better.
It forms a thick woody stem and has cluster of light yellow flowers.
Once growing it moves!

Growing the seed: very important you need high temperatures! It took me 4 tries to get mine right! What I do is this: on the side of the seed there is a small hole, close to that I cut a piece of the outer shell away. I then soak the seed in luke-warm water over night, next morning I remove a bigger piece. Then I place the seed on it's side in a seedling tray. The seedling tray has a mix of vermiculite, palm peat and perlite.
I dampen my mix first. I cover the seed with about 2cm of mix. As long as the weather plays along, and it stays above 25C¿ for a week, you should have 60- 70% success rate.
As I said only my 4th batch worked (80% success) My mistakes: soaking too long, removing too much shell, too wet mix and low temperatures. I had a batch doing nicelly, just starting to do roots then the temperature fell to 20C for 3 days- I lost all of my seedlings.
