Muiria is often referred to in afrikaans as the Muiskop vygie. It is a rare endemic from the little Karoo. It's mostly a winter grower that sheaths over in the hot summer months just like a Conophytum does. They are best sown in March/ April or in August/ September when the difference between day and night temperature is quite high.
