Butt Splice, Red, DHSB, 22 AWG, 16 AWG, 1.5 mm², PE (Polyethylene)Product OverviewThe DHSB 1 is a 15mm red sealed heat shrink Butt Splice with tin plated tubularcopper terminal, high density PE insulation and a clear polyolefin sleeve. Thissplices provides a tough and long lasting environmental seal against immersionin solvents, oils, fluids and salt water. The wire insulation should be strippedto 8mm and then crimped into the ends of the butt splice. Hot air should then beapplied to the sleeve until the tubing has shrunk to the cable size and theadhesive flows from the end of the splice, giving a fully sealed joint andadditional strain relief.
