Murashige and Skoog Medium, commonly abbreviated as MS Medium, is a plant tissue culture medium that is widely used in plant science research and plant biotechnology. It was first developed by Toshio Murashige and Folke Skoog in 1962 and has since become one of the most popular and versatile plant tissue culture media.
