Title: Murder in LaMut (Legends of the Riftwar, Book 2) Authors: Raymond E. Feist & Joel Rosenberg Publisher: Harper Voyager (An imprint of HarperCollins) Format: Paperback (2003 Edition, 8th Printing)
It should all have been so simple... On the surface, the assignment seemed like cushy work to protect a lady and her husband and deliver them safely to the city of LaMut. Durine, Kethol and Pirojil are three mercenaries who have spent the past twenty years fighting other people's battles: against the Tsurani and the Bugs and the goblins, and now it seems they've run out of Tsurani, Bugs and goblins to kill. Durine wasn't worried though, because Kethol was the clever one and always came up with something. So after the welcome respite of a few months of garrison duty, a gentle journey to LaMut should have been completely straightforward...
