First you will be buying one thing your child can actually learn from. Unlike just a toy (like a toy drum set), your child will be trying to play at an actual drum set, there is certainly a real instrument, showing they are able to actually have the potential to master that instrument.
A baby drum set, if accepted and used often by your child can often be trodden path into a new hobby or skill. This is just not a toy commonly do, but by giving your child an authentic drum kit, they can pretty much become interested in music, try to play an instrument, and especially participation in the drums. There is no better time to do this than in a young child age.
