A rare opportunity for the WW II enthusiast to own a piece of unique militaria history.
The charismatic Benito Mussolini, “il Duce”, founded the fascist party in 1922, rising to Prime Minister of Italy in 1925, He then assumed absolute power as dictator, Leaving King Vittorio Emanuele III a mere figurehead. His unquenchable desire for fame and power dragged Italy into war, first with Ethiopia. Later, Italy acted in support of Tito’s Spanish fascists, and in 1939, in accord with their Axis treaties, entered the Second World War on Germany’s side.
