This large medal was struck in honour of MW Pretorius, who was the first President of the Zuid Afrikaanche Republiek (ZAR) for the centenary of Pretoria (1855-1955). In brilliant uncirculated condition, this is a large medal: - 38 mm in diameter and weighing 25.4 grams.
