Mylar Reflective Sheeting

Mylar Reflective Sheeting increases the amount of available light accessed by plants.

Mylar is a great choice if you are growing in a cupboard or have an entire room that you want to "light" insulate as it gives you the effect of a grow tent (which are mostly made with mylar reflective material on the interior). Mylar can be used to line the entire room (or cupboard that you are using for your grow areas) from the floor, walls, ceiling. Mylar has a reflectivity of 90% minimum.

Mylar is reinforced aluminium foil insulation material. Made from lamination of aluminium foil, Kraft paper, reinforced synthetic fibre and polyethylene.

It proves extremely durable and will easily attach to most surfaces. Mylar can effectively be joined using Aluminium Tape which we stock however please keep in mind that Mylar does not have an adhesive backing but once laid and taped should effectively stay in place. 

Mylar is not an insulator and should not be used as such as it's main purpose is to maximize your lighting to the ultimate benefit of your grow area and plants.
