Thisencapsulated electronic transformer is a switched mode power supply based onflyback topology and provides an alternative solution to traditional powersupplies used in most common low powered applications. This power supply hashigh level of increased power, almost three times more than the standard EI30transformer and offers a better energetic efficiency of 70% typical compared to40% for a conventional supply and low standby power consumption. The electronictransformer has the same footprint as an EI30 transformer which replacesregulated types of transformers.
