Age-toning to top- and fore edges. Illustrated end papers. 1st Edition. Condition: Very good. Dust Jacket: Good. Light edge-wear to edges. 1cm closed tear to upper edge of back panel with some creasing and a number of small nicks and tears to the edges. Green boards with gilt image and lettering. Boards are clean and in a very good condition, the edges are intact. Covered in protective plastic.

Stories of witches, witchdoctors, mystics, ghosts, mermaids and mermen, shape-shifters, myths of the mountains, rivers, waterfalls and forests. Splendidly illustrated work in many colour & b&w illustrations which has become a treasured heirloom and highly collectable.
