Pieter Hendrik Henning (plaas Heuningkrans, 1886 1975) was 'n baanbrekerboer wat ná die Tweede Vryheidsoorlog saam met sy ouers en agt van sy 10 sibbes na Argentinie geëmigreer en baie jare lank onder uiters moeilike omstandighede daar geboer het tot die repatriasie van 1939.
n Boer in Argentinië is n verslag oor die lewe in Argentinië en die verskille in gewoontes tussen Suid-Afrika en Argentinië. Hy berig oor die algemene wetteloosheid wat in Argentinië aan die orde van die dag was, met eerlike burgers wat dikwels wet in eie hande moes neem om te oorleef teen perdediewe, veediewe en rowers. Die Afrikaners moes hulself onder moeilike omstandighede opwerk te midde van avonture met die inwoners en wilde diere. Interessant is die vergelyking van hoe skaapboerdery in Argentinië bedryf word in teenstelling met die Karoo.
