Near enough 300 of these large steam engines were built between 1930 and 1938 for the Imperial German Railway administration as a passenger express loco, pulling up to 800 ton trains at speeds up to 140 km/h. The large driving wheels are predestined for the fast passenger service. A most popular and versatile unit also proved its usefulness into the late 60’s. The impressive model has a length of 170 mm, it is strong puller.
