Close to the Skilpad Wildflower Reserve & other scenic towns to get the best views of the magnificence of the flowers on display!

Namaqualand is a world of wonder. It is a spectacular explosion of colour every year!

Butterflies hover, birds dart and bees shimmy and dance over the springtime flowers of Namaqua. A multiplicity of colour weaves across the valley floor and spills over to the sandy coastline!

Please note that the Namaqualand splendor is an act of God, and therefore we cannot guarantee when the flowers will be in bloom, and also not the quantity and range of flowers. But based on previous years, the best time for viewing is August & September!
