These are the two whitest/colourless colour grades on the diamond colour grading scale. Colour D is the highest grade possible, being perfectly colourless. Excellent colour for use in expensive jewellery settings. For investment purposes these particular colours have a proven track record, optimized even further by the desireable VVS clarity grade.

Clarities are graded far more strictly in diamonds than in any other gem type. In a diamond a 'VS'' type inclusion is never visible to the naked eye.
