This is the 5th whitest / most colourless colour grade on the diamond colour grading scale. Excellent colour for use in expensive jewellery settings. For investment purposes this particular colour has a proven track record, optimized even further by the very desireable VS1 clarity grade.
Clarity grade (under 10x magnification): VS1
Clarities are graded far more strictly in diamonds than in any other gem type. In a diamond a 'VS'' type inclusion is never visible to the naked eye. Only under 10X magnification will the trained-eye be able to detect a VS inclusion, whereas the average untrained eye might look through a 10x jeweller's loupe for hours without spotting this insignificant, very small type of inclusion). 'VS' clarity stones are of Top Jewellery Grade and are normally only set into fine jewellery. For investment purposes 'VS' is an excellent choice.
