Natal 1906 Rebellion Medal 'LT. W.J. BROWNING' (UMVOTI MTD. RIFLES)

This original, full size 'Natal Bambatha Rebellion' medal with 1906 clasp was issued to 'LT. W.J. BROWNING' of the 'UMVOTI MTD. RIFLES'. This medal is un-researched but confirmed on the roll, and is in great condition, nicely tarnished with its original ribbon.

NOTE: This is the only British campaign medal not awarded to any British troops. The Natal Rebellion medal was a South African campaign medal and was issued for service in the Bambatha Rebellion in Natal 1906. Those who served for fifty days or longer qualified for the 1906 clasp with the medal.
