The Big Picture is Natalie Knights Art-o-Biography part-memoir, part-art history, filled with beautiful art images, society photos of the time and the stories behind many of the pieces she sold. Natalie rubbed shoulders with the whos who in the art and socialite world as owner of the landmark gallery in Hyde Park (1981- 1995). She introduced the works of major international artists such as Andy Warhol and David Hockney.

She exhibited the works of many South African artists including William Kentridge, Willem Boshoff, Esther Mahlangu, and Alfred Thoba before they became well-known. In her Art-o-Biography, Natalie remembers the guts, glory (and a little gossip) of the International and South African art scenewith all its ego, talent, quirkiness and glamour. This book is a beautiful photographic romp through art and social history  in South Africa.

The front cover of the book depicts a picture of Norman Catherine's famous work "Blindfolded Girl" and is signed by him on the inside cover. The book is in excellent condition.
