National Geographic Folded Map Colonization and Trade In The New World Dec 1977. Map both sides - 57,5x75,5 cm. Some stains on front side. Some small tears on folds.
A beautiful old style map depicting the Trade Wars that shaped North America and changed the course of History in the region. A great educational map. The reverse has a superb drawing of a Traders Galleon that was typical of the ships that plied their trade in the 1400's and 1500's.
The map itself is a composite of charts by Herman Moll designed about 1720 with names and spellings from the time.
Great for framing in the Nautical themed bar or study or for the classroom.
