The Grand Prix was awarded to Mr. J. Slagt for King William III of the Netherlands. Other awards made: 1 Gold, 7 Silver-Gilt, 19 Silver and 21 Bronze and 11 Certificates of Merit.
The Post Office had an exhibition post office and provided a special pictorial canceller (157) depicting the Old Parsonage of the Strooidak (thatched roof) Church in Paarl.
The organisers issued 2000 commemorative covers with the same design as that of the Post Office.
