NATURAL PIECE OF CARNELIAN SET IN EP SILVER

If you love crystals in their natural state, this is for you. This is a particularly fascinating piece of carnelian that has been rounded off at the edges to fit into a ring setting, but otherwise is completely natural. The crystal takes its word from the Latin word corneolus, Latin for cherry. However, its colour range is more orange and reddish-brown. This piece of carnelian has particularly interesting inclusions that I have photographed in the sunlight to show their pattern.

Spiritually, the carnelian is the stone of regeneration or vitality. In addition, it is the stone of creativity.
