This ring is a classic solitaire design, featuring an unusual gemstone - an oval-cut zircon set on elongated claws, in 9ct yellow gold. The zircon is natural, earth-mined (not a cubic zirconia!). The zircon is the deepest, darkest green and has been used in jewellery for thousands of years - the strong dark green colour complements the yellow of the gold. The gemstone is 0,40 carat, t he piece weighs 2,5 grams and bears the 375 hallmark for 9 ct gold, the Birmingham Assay mark, the date 1992, and the jeweller's signature. It is ring size 7 (O in British and SA sizing).
