Natural Labradorite Cabochon Sterling Silver Ring with Beautiful Iridescence

The beautiful labradorite gemstone featured in this ring is a 23 x 17 mm softly polished piece, left to display the natural gemstone rather than being faceted. The stone is bezel-set into the sterling silver ring. The stone has different hues - a greyish blue colour in certain lights, but when the stone catches the light, it demonstrates a classic iridescence - referred to as labradorescence - with rainbow colours veering towards the sea blues. The frame of the bezel setting is quite deep at 3 mm. The ring head measures 24 x 18 mm (2,4 x 1,8 cm). The shank is polished sterling silver, 4 mm all the way round. The ring is size 7.5 (P in British and SA sizing). It weighs 8 grams and is hallmarked 925 for sterling silver.
