 NATURAL RUBY LARGE STERLING SILVER STUD EARRINGS WITH UNUSUAL PROTEA-LIKE FLORAL DETAILING

These ruby solitaire large stud earrings in sterling silver feature a single round faceted, claw set deep raspberry real ruby gemstone with a most unusual decorative claw design. The shafts of the claws are interlinked, with petal-like overlapping openwork, giving a protea-like feel. The colour contrast is strong, with the ruby being a rich, dark pinkish-red against the bright white silver. The earrings are beautifully crafted and for studs, quite large at 12mm diameter and extending 8mm above the ear lobe. The measurement from the tip of the stick part of the stud to the top of the ruby is 20mm. Fabulously dramatic and bigger than you would expect! They weigh a solid 5,13 grams together, and bear the 925 hallmark indicating sterling silver.
