Naval Digest Number 13, published in May 2008 by the South African Naval Heritage Trust (NHT). The Naval Digest is a series of booklets initiated in 1998 to document South African naval history, including biographies, ship histories, and personal memoirs.

Part 1: A feature on Commodore J. Dalgleish, CBE, written by Roger Williams. Dalgleish was a significant figure in the South African Naval Service (SANS) and commanded the survey ship HMS Crozier in the early 1920s.

Part 2: Wartime memoirs of Lt M. Bartholomew SANF (V).

Part 3: A history of an early minesweeping base.
