The Multi-Voltage UPS is an uninterruptible power supply withselectable output voltage: 5, 7.5, 9, 12V. Unlike other mini UPS devices, itdoes not need an external power adapter and connects directly to the standardSouth African 230V AC power supply. It is ideal to supply backup power for WiFirouters, CCTV cameras, or any other DC devices. During a blackout or loadshedding, the UPS will automatically switch to battery power, and your deviceswill stay ON without any interruption. You can expect around 5 hours of backuppower for a typical WiFi router, but the actual backup time may be more or lessdepending on how much power your device consumes.
The UPS can be set up in seconds by connecting the power cableto an AC plug, and the DC cable between the UPS and the device. The batteriesinside are high-quality lithium-ion and should last more than 8 years.
