EX (Excellent): Pretty much like a new CD but it isn't sealed.
VG+ (Very Good Plus): Shows some minor signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.
VG (Very Good): May exhibit minor scuffs/scratches that do not affect playback; has been played but not handled as carefully as VG+.
VG- (Very Good Minus): A lot of scuffs and scratches but will play through; not handled with care at all.
G (Good): May or may not play some or all of the tracks.
