This Mandela medallion is one of the earlier examples, struck in sterling silver with gold plate.  Not as common as all the other Mandela coins and medallions being sold now.

It is also much bigger than the average Mandela medallion,  so it has decent silver bullion value as well.

I have verified the medallion by comparing the weight and design with other known examples , but bought it as part of a large collection without its own box or its own papers. I am selling some of the best medallions and coins from the collection individually and a few have already been bought. See my other listings.

It is in excellent condition, as per the photo.
