My late father inlaw purchased this from a gent who travelled Nepal , Burma and Tibet back in the late 1970`s early 1980`s.

The deity’s name is Tara. The green ‘patina’ applied to age the sculpture, as well as denote the Green Tara. As a artwork, it’s pretty nice modelling. 

Tara is a female manifestation of enlightened wisdom. Tara literally means saviour. She represents mercy and compassion. She helps living creatures to overcome difficulties. The statue has friendly, mystical appearance.
