The Network Power LT01-1 Single Channel 10/100Mbps Network Surge Protector is a compact inline protection device for Ethernet-based networking and surveillance equipment. Designed for CCTV systems, hard disk recorders, network transmission equipment, optical transceivers and similar installations, it helps protect connected equipment against transient overvoltage caused by induced lightning and electrostatic discharge. Its compact RJ45 design makes it suitable for professional security and network installations where additional surge protection is required without adding bulky equipment.

Helps protect valuable network equipment. Designed to limit transient overvoltage reaching connected Ethernet equipment during induced lightning and electrostatic discharge events.
Fast surge response. A response time of 1 ns allows the protection circuit to react rapidly when a voltage transient occurs.
Handles substantial surge current. Rated for a 5 kA nominal discharge current and a maximum flow capacity of 10 kA using an 8/20 s waveform.
Supports 10/100Mbps networks. Handles Ethernet transmission rates up to 100 Mbps, making it suitable for compatible CCTV, recorder and general network installations.
Low impact on the network signal. Insertion loss is rated at 0.5 dB to minimise signal degradation through the protector.
RJ45 inline connection. Standard RJ45 connections make the unit easy to integrate into compatible Ethernet cable runs.
Compact installation. Measuring only 78 × 25 × 25 mm, the protector can be installed close to the equipment it is intended to protect.

Did You Know?

This protector is rated for transmission speeds of up to 100 Mbps. It is therefore intended for 10/100 Fast Ethernet connections rather than Gigabit Ethernet links, so check the required network speed before installing it.
The protection is applied to pins 1, 2, 3 and 6. These are the data pairs used by standard 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, which is why the unit is specifically specified for this network speed.
The unit includes a dedicated grounding connection. The specification sheet notes that the grounding point is specially treated to help avoid interference with the network signal.
